It's just so hard to see in your own projects.

Anita, I love how my critiquers handle my word-babies. :-)Marybkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12013291291298167627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7927342525988890809.post-72219710091383190312011-05-25T00:53:31.799-05:002011-05-25T00:53:31.799-05:00What a great interview! I mean, I do to degree, when I'm pushing to get that first draft out; but when I'm ready to polish, I MUST have other eyes. It's too easy to be soft with your own work. Those words are your babies, after all. This is why fresh eyes are so stellar. They let you know what you overlooked especially in those cases when, to you, it's obvious. And when the sting is almost gone, that's when we can receive it openly and make great use of it.Kriszhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15229058797818116833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7927342525988890809.post-82553188908241453292011-05-22T22:26:19.795-05:002011-05-22T22:26:19.795-05:00Hi, Ella! I've read my novel a hundred times and still miss the little things - and sometimes the big things. Critique does sting, but you need to develop a tough shell if you want to be a roaring success.Ella Schwartzhttp://ellaschwartz.net/noreply@blogger.com
